3rd Generation Houstonian

Audra Deaver is a 3rd generation Houstonian and graduate of North Shore High School in East Houston. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree from the University of Houston Clear Lake. She is married to James Deaver and recently celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary. They have three children and are small business owners for the past 14 years. Audra has a long history of Humble Independent School District school involvement and community engagement and most recently, Audra was chosen to be a part of the Humble Independent School District Community Leadership Academy for the 2022-2023 school year.

An Anchor in Her Community

Currently Audra serves on the Harris County Republican Party Senate District 4 Advisory Board and local Precinct Secretary.  In the Spring of 2022 Audra concluded her National Charity League Chapter Board role of Vice President - Philanthropy where she trained, mentored and led 18 Liaisons facilitating direct philanthropy involvement for over 260 members. In addition, the past 6 years Audra has volunteered countless hours giving her a true servant’s heart centered around the Humble ISD Community. Her most notable philanthropy being the Humble ISD Education Foundation where she often volunteered for Title I schools in the district helping teachers and administrators prepare hallway bulletins, organizing library books, and offered summer school classroom assistance for elementary aged students.

Faith & Community

During the younger years of their children’s lives, the Deaver’s were a large part of the Kingwood Lacrosse community where Audra served two years on the Kingwood Youth Lacrosse Board of Directors and later at the High School level as her husband was Head Coach for 4 years taking the team to the Texas State Finals twice at the D1 level of talent.  Audra also headed up 3 years of youth level Coaching for the Upwards Basketball Association at their local church, Woodridge Baptist.  Where Audra lacked in basketball skills her husband picked up the slack (greatly); however, she mostly enjoyed the Bible based practice breaks and team led prayer time with children.

Business Owner

Audra has made a huge impact in the life of their small business in the Kingwood area.  As co-owner, her role began in 2009. Through the years, she has worn many hats, including financial manager, marketing, and HR director. Audra knows what it takes to run a small business and what it means to weigh risks versus financial reward in the grand scheme and life of a locally owned small business.
